The most common of the sleep disorders is called obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This disorder hinders the proper flow of oxygen throughout the patient’s body during his sleep.

- Be disciplined about going to bed and waking up at a consistent time.
- Avoid “sleeping in” on weekends and holidays.
- Create a comfortable sleeping environment with a dark, quiet room.
